As I wrote in today’s Journal.
Eagles defense is 30th, allowing TDs about two-thirds of the time. Jets offense is No. 1 at 71.4%, 11-for-11 in their last three games and the NFL’s best since the 2007 Patriots (who went unbeaten and were 72%).
Sanchez is throwing TDs on 29% of his red zone passes versus 12% last year, plus he has five rushing scores that tie with Shonn Greene for the team lead.
Two charts, first team red zone stats (offense only); then, Jets individual red zone stats:
INDIVIDUAL RED ZONE ONLY:
Sanchez: 29-59, 272 yards, 17 TDs, 1 pick, 1 sack, 94.8 QB rating.
